I noticed this bug before the advanced search was implemented and it still appears to be there even with the advanced searching capabilities.
The 2 screenshots below show a test search for the term “engine cover”. The default sort is by relevance, and it yields 184 results. Switching to sort by date, yields 189 results for the same search. I would expect the number of results to be same, and just the sort order to change.
