No rubbing that I notice. I will check my wheel liners to make sure though.
Any reason not to go with 245’s in the front? We've had this combo for almost 2 years now. The only time it rubbed was at full lock when backing up, and that seems to have gone away as the tire wore down slightly.
Then the diameter between the front and rear would be different. 245/35 matches 285/30 while 255/35 matches 295/30 on 19sAny reason not to go with 245’s in the front?
Are you running the MPS4’s in the 255/295?Then the diameter between the front and rear would be different. 245/35 matches 285/30 while 255/35 matches 295/30 on 19s
I am, and not noticing any rubbing issues.But...they are really tight in the barrel. Are you running the MPS4’s in the 255/295?
I'm on stock corsas and bought a take off set of corsas as a replacement. For winter, I use Alpine pa4 but also I'm oem 245/285 sizingAre you running the MPS4’s in the 255/295?
This is the answer lol! We've had this combo for almost 2 years now. The only time it rubbed was at full lock when backing up, and that seems to have gone away as the tire wore down slightly.
Do you have any aftermarket suspension modifications? This is the answer lol!
I've run 255/35/29 MPSS on the front of my Giulia QV without any rubbing. However, my new set of MPS4S DO rub when backing up just like @JoeCab said.
When I heard the rubbing I got out to look while the wheels were locked to the left...
The tires do touch the rearward felt fender liner, but you only hear it when backing up because of the way the tread is cut. It does rub moving forward when the wheels are locked, you just don't hear it. The tires are also SUPER close to the forward, plastic, vented fender liner, but not rubbing that I can tell.
So just wear them down a bit and you'll be good.
I'm here to tell ya that I notice a considerable difference in grip between the MPSS and MPS4S!! With these MPS4S I can floor it from a stop and it just bites and goes! It helps a bit that my Squadra Massimo tune by @Alfissimo "squeezes" on the power from a stop helping you to move forward vs burn out and fish tale, but still... these tires GRIP!
To be honest, I like them better than the CUP2s I ran on the car.
Yes.Do you have any aftermarket suspension modifications?
