Installed the Remus resonated axleback on my 2017 Giulia today :) Wasn't too difficult, only took about 1.5-2 hours. I absolutely love the new sound! Not too obnoxious, but definitely gives it that sportier sound and pops a bit between gears!

Warm Start Video since I had been driving around and was too excited to film a cold start 😅

imho, one of the best sounding combination for the Giulia 2.0.

Wish mine sounded like that, but unfortunately I have a Euro6d version with GPF, and they will never sound good.
On top of that I went for Supersprint Sport unresonated (Euro6d have no resonator stock) which is way too boomy.

I needed something that wouldn't piss off the neighbors or drone when I was daily driving. It's the perfect sound for me!

Congtrats. I went this path also and added the front section 12 months after to make this a full resonated cat back. The front section mandrel bent bigger diameter added what i felt was missing to the axelback. Enjoy!

Waiting for the Remus axle back to arrive in stock so I can move on from too much volume muffler delete. Should I order catback straight up? its only an extra $ 400 AUS ? what is the sound difference

I am not an exhaust specialist, however had in the past an custom catback exhaust made by a shop for one of my previous cars. Until i found the desired sound, there were many attempts in which we were adjusting the muffler and resonator.
For the current setup that you have now, i believe that a front resonator would solve the problem.
It's not only my feeling, there is some experience based similar case related to SS.
Couple of month ago, i was chatting with a forum colleague about exhausts, which went through the same issues like you:
1. Axle back SS, which was loud and had some drone between 1-2k rpm
2. Did some sound deadening, which gave low result (considering returning SS and going towards either stock or Remus)
3. SS recommended the front resonated pipe
4. Replaced fake OEM tips with real exhaust tips (89mm)
5. Outcome => very happy customer, no drone, no boominess

Hope that you will solve the issue. Fingers crossed🤞

Outside, sound is ok, and actually not that loud. But it’s that anoying deep tone inside cabin (again, it not droning).
Will have Superspring resonated frontpipe installed soon.
Unfortunately Supersprint never had the thought of producing exhaust tips for Giulia 2.0..

You can find quite a few of good looking exhaust tips (via ebay/amazon/aliexpress), and most probably at a much lower price. Seems to be important for what you need sound/vibration wise.

Supersprint Sport has a 58mm endpipe.
I‘ve asked Supersprint if they were planning to produce end pipes for Giulia 2.0 and the clear answer was ”no”.

Ragazzon offers these “Universal” 60/90mm but they might be too long at 195mm.

Man, you folks are making me miss my Remus axle-back! I installed one on my previous Giulia, but left it on when I turned the car back in at lease end. I don’t know why I did that...except that I gave the original exhaust to another GF member to cut open and experiment with!

I was figuring I might try another type of exhaust on my current Giulia, but I never did.

Paying $2600 usd for a Supersprint Sport resonated system was not worth it....

Go with a cat back system this time? I did that to mine and love it.

Deeper tone well. I initially deleted the front resonator and that also did improve the sound ( so subjective) i was looking for but was still missing something. So, when i replaced the front section, it did give me that extra db i was looking for. To many steps and more $$ vs going straight for a cat back from getgo. I would do a complete kit imho.

Yea that's true. Who ripped you off?
Well SS of course.
That's the price from SS webshop and same you need to pay when buying from a dealer in Denmark.
