Try again. It might let you change it later on even though it had previously not let you do it.. I have only received that message one time even though I update posts all of the time.

Can we remove the time limit for post editing?

I have a thread here:

I need to update due to some information changing. If I add a new post to show the info changed, it may not be viewed, as some users may not want to read all posts.

As a moderator, I have the ability to edit your post for you. (I don't have the ability to change the time limit). I'll read the post in question now.

Hey guys,

The edit time has been updated to 12 hours. This will allow any user who has made a mistake to go back and change it. As Racer said, if there is an old threads you need updated you can contact any of the admins/mods with details on what you need changed, or you can report the post with the details.
