I've come across various 'quirks' with the car in it's first 1k miles. Most notably are some consistent glitches, with inconsistent results with regards to remote start and the radio.

When remote starting, one of these three things happens with the radio when I get in the car and there doesn't seem to be a pattern determining which scenario I end up with...these are in no particular order, it is completely random.

#1 It's the same station I left it on.

#2 It's the same station I left it on, but when I change the preset station one direction or another, it automatically goes to preset #1 no matter where in the 10+ preset lineup it is.

#3 It's on the satellite 'demo' station, channel 1.

Anyone else experience this, and does a software update fix it?

If I use remote start and it runs long enough to shut off on its own, the radio will still be ON and playing random music. If I lock the car w the fob, the radio goes off. So weird.

Hello theoriginalcdub,

We're sorry to hear you're having a tough time with this. Check https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html to see if your system is ready for an update. You can also send us your VIN as we'd be glad to escalate your inquiry to a Case Specialist for further handling.

I always have number 2. If I leave it on USB or Bluetooth the results can be anything. If I leave it on satellite it may or may not be on that station.

Another wonderful example of the competence of FCA owning Alfa. Alfa Cares does not even know that UConnect is not in Alfa. Of course, if you go to the Alfa app, you will also likely find the wrong manual for your vehicle, and the UConnect system if you click on infotainment.

There really is no excuse for this level of incompetence other than FCA's lack of concern for the customer experience.

When putting in my VIN to that link / site, it gives me an error message. I guess Ryan's response below has some validity.

My normally does number #2 however the other day when I was listening to the NHL station (go Caps!) Now she has decided she is a fan of hockey and always starts on the NHL station even when I change the station before turning the car off.

I caulk it up to her quirky personality and it doesn't bother me.

@AlfaRomeoCares Lol, why don't you send them to the Cadillac Cue or Ford MySync page for support? Might as well since Alfa doesn't use Uconnect either, so same level of assistance.

You've got to be kidding me. Honestly, I'm not even surprised, which is just sad. :surprise:

Hi theoriginalcdub,

I'm terribly sorry about that. The system we use to respond to posts on the forums labeled this messaged from a customer on the Jeepgarage forum, which as you may know DOES have a Uconnect system. Feel free to send me your VIN and I can get this escalate per normal. Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you to everyone that commented on this. I genuinely appreciate it!

I can't tell if you are being facetious or sarcastic....

Either way, I'll send you my VIN and genuinely appreciate your sense of humor.
