Has anyone else had their rear seat reading lights stay on? I made a stop during a longish drive, never opening the rear doors or touching any of the interior light switches. Soon after leaving that location I noticed they were on (which was annoying at night). Fortunately it was (so far) a one-time event, as they extinguished properly when I departed my next stop. I never saw a warning light indicating a door was open or any other message. The nagging issue for me is whether it was an isolated glitch or an announcement of problems to come. Fingers crossed.

Hello Chipshot,

We know you're going to get some great advice from the members on the forum. This may be something beyond the surface so if you decide you'd like to have this looked at by the dealership, let us know. We'd be glad to help along that process and get this escalated.

That's what I'm thinking. Not going to make a special visit to the service department (at CDJR dealership) unless it repeats, repeats.

Check the status of battery charge...this kind of silly events are often sign of undercharged battery...one of my previous Audis were doing silly stuff like that when battery was low in cold after bunch of very short drives
