saw this video on the M3 forum...and of course the Alfa cheated...they said the driver jumped.
I don't follow any BMW forums, but of course they would say that. Watching the video carefully the Alfa didn't jump at all, just a good start compared to the BMW. In fact the driver of the BMW stated in the YouTube comments that with launch control there was a delay between brake release and the clutch biting causing the start to seem slow. Regardless, the 1/4 mile time was recorded individually for each car so a "jump" doesn't change the outcome, 11.9 for the Alfa vs 12.3 for the M3.

A lot of BMW guys are butt hurt about the Giulia QV. Now that Alfa is back, and in a big way, they are going to have to get used to losing. That's not to say that the M3 isn't an awesome car, it is, but it's not the king of the mountain anymore. I am sure BMW will be firing back soon, but for now, the QV is faster than the M3.
