Manual says m3u and pls are supported but neither one is seen by the system. The mp3's play fine, the play list worked in the car I sold.
Does anyone know how? or had success?

I haven't tried to build a playlist yet. As MP3 players go, this is Ok I guess. MP3 players in general always leave me wanting something more. But, it works 150% better than the Parrot in my 4C!

I usually let it do a random play from the entire chip.

I'm using a USB drive, just tried wpl format and is not seen, mp3's in root or folder, playlists in root. So I have tried all 3 formats listed in manual. Call Alfa and they had no answer or knowledge but will get back to me. Playlist choice is in the media menu in the car and owners manual.
This sounds like a feature never programed in the system and might not ever will.

I just use folders. It is easier and always works.
