Me:

  • Drive 1k miles to break it in properly and shakedown the chassis for any bugs
  • Dyno It
  • Paint Correct/Protection (If I Buy and not Lease)
  • Track Day (Weather Dependent on the East Coast)

First thing I'll be doing is pinching myself really hard to make sure its actually in my driveway! Then I'll have someone take some glamour shots of me standing by my Giulia gently caressing her while i have a silly grin on my face! Then maybe a give her a good wash/wax with paint protection.
I'm not that anxious to take her to the track just yet as I agree that you'll need to allow for a break-in period and shake down to make sure all is as it should be.
1) wash, clay, buff, seal, wax
2) break in (of course)
3) massive burnouts, rotate tires, repeat

Argh ! Thank you for pointing that out... time to go buy some pairs...:wink2::wink2:
I'd also like to share a toast with all the good people who have waited patiently for the opportunity to own a Giulia.
Here's to a successful launch ... and trouble free driving.
CHEERS! :smile2:

That would be extremely helpful and a great idea... with all the hooning around I'll be doing, that is like a necessity.
I never thought about getting a detector ...but your probably right about its necessity... especially if your going to go out and have some public playtime...
And you know you'll push it hard just to see what the fuss is all about...better to have a bit of protection, just in case.

Man with the plan! Haha. I have my Escort Redline Stealth Radar Detector (Living near DC, and VA where radar detectors are illegal) which is sufficient for me! Highly recommend.

lol, well just the exhaust sound alone will cause the police to be on alert to pull us over!
