Anybody else wrestling with minor electrical nuisances? 2018 Quad. Just a couple miles out of the dealer after delivery and Parksense became unavailable and requested that I get the system serviced. Simple problem of a loose connector required a complicated task of removing the rear bumper to resolve.
Dealer was great to work with. just an inconvenience and a head scratcher on how this car got off the assembly line with that issue...

Now a few days later and ACC (cruise control) not available....error message says to seek service again.

700 miles and I love the way this car drives...but so far I hope these minor issues are not a trend...

The ACC may be an issue of something, and it could be anything minor, on your sensor (too much pollen, tree sap, rain, mud, etc.). Look at that first, then take it in. Mine went unavailable due to rain once. Odd, but doesn't happen too much.

I have had major issues with the infotainment system and other parts, but that does not seem to be your problem so far. Quality control seems to be lacking a bit--which is a major head-scratcher for a brand trying to break back into the US market. Most US consumers will not put up with things like repeated trips to dealers. The vehicles saving grace is that if everything worked correctly, it is the best driving car in its class.

Hi Darlene,
Thanks for checking in. I have alerted the dealer and will take the car in next week. They are helpful and providing support as expected. Will let you know if resolution progress stalls. Once this gets sorted I will be back to telling everyone how much I love this car. :grin2:

Gumbeaux, any resolution with your ACC sensor? I'm having the same issue- "ACC unavailable, service required". Hoping it would be temporary, but it's persisting for about a week after heavy rain. Just wondering if yours got fix, or what I might be in for.

Just a tip, if you precede the username with the “@“, they’ll get notification of your post. Increases the chance they will see your question.

Thanks. Usually bumping the thread is sufficient, but I suppose @Gumbeaux wouldn't mind if I tagged him.

Odd behavior today: turning on cruise brings up an additional warning, even with my dash light on. Driving for a bit in heavy rain, I saw the "ACC unavailable due to weather, please clean sensor". So it appears that the sensor is still working even though it's not? So weird. Hopefully HC alfa in Wayland will figure it out.

Just an update, mine finally switched off after I made a service appointment. ?. Seems to be fine now after commuting for two days.

Sorry @sandwich I missed this. Dealer replaced my camera. But oddly enough the warning disappeared and cruise control function returned after a couple weeks of being out. Still they replaced the camera which I did not argue with. All working perfectly now

Interesting- thanks for the response. Will follow up with the dealer if this happens again. Super weird but not unexpected.
