Hello - I have a 2017 Giulia AWD w/ 2800 miles. I noticed the rotors are grooved (all 4) and was wondering if this is normal. It stops fine. Thanks for any comments on this matter!

If it sat for a while that will happen, also depends on your location as salt/moisture will cause the rotors to rust and if the brakes aren’t run hard the rust will stay in the rotor and wear the same groove into the pads. It won’t cause any problems, besides maybe a pulsation if it gets worse, at which point the rotors will need to be replaced or resurfaced. Depending on your dealer they may do that for you under warranty, FCA brake pulsation warranty is 1yr/20k I believe.....problem is, most techs will just turn the rotors and ship it, but if the pattern is in the pads they also need to be skimmed, to do this I take all the pads to a concrete surface and smooth them out manually top-to-bottom (opposite of what pattern they naturally have).
