Just purchased a Vesuvius gray, 19"sport package, Ti performance package tonight from Alfa Romero Glendale. Tough to find in LA. Salespeople said they had sold 5 Giulia's today.
Hmmmm. I haven't seen a single "Ti" badge on a Giulia in Texas. Interestingly, the "Q2" badge was a separate line item on the window sticker for some reason. I have the Ti with Sport Package and Performance Package which includes adjustable dampers and limited slip diff.Interesting.
Why do some have the Q2 and others have ti if they mean kinda the same?
I believe I read somewhere Q2 badge goes to those that have Ti Performance Package. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Q2 means it has the limited slip differential, which is part of the Performance package.
Correct. The 'Q2' means it has an LSD (limited slip differential), is RWD, and is only available with the Ti trim level. I believe the 'Q4' is the same thing, except as AWD.There is no Ti badge. The Q2 badge is internally codified as an option because you can have the LSD on the AWD Giulia, and in that case the Q2 badge is omitted, for obvious reasons.
Sorry, I'm not doubting you, but that wasn't very clear and it doesn't seem very logical. As I already pointed out, the Q2 badge does indicate the presence of a LSD, while the Q4 badge does not.
RWD without LSD: no badge
RWD with LSD: Q2 badge
AWD without LSD: Q4 badge
AWD with LSD: Q4 badge
