Hi everyone I just purchased a 2017 Guilia and love the car! I got a great deal on it and am using the savings over the 330i I was going to purchase by customizing it. First step was a new leather/ alcantara interior and carbon fiber mods interior/ exterior. Now toying with the idea of a new intake and eurocompulsion chip to get it in the 320+ horsepower range. Any thoughts/ suggestions are welcome. Nice to meet you all!

That looks quite unique. I am impressed. There is a lot of customisation. I am interested to exactly what you changed and how much it set you back? How did you manage to match the leather perforations?

Hey thanks! The interior carbon fiber and abs metal pieces all in were about 5-600. The exterior pieces about 250-300 total. The leather and alcantara were the most expensive part. Cost 3000. All in am at about 4k but I got the car loaded with 13k miles for 22k so I feel like I'm still ahead!

Now just figuring out what to do in terms of tuning.

I have seen people do the interior carbon stuff. It's the seat and door card, arm rest customisation I have never seen. Did you go to a seat upholstery specialist?? Did they remove and replace all the parts after modifications?

I highly suggest looking at Seletron or Jb4 (both I carry). They are piggybacks but you end up with essentially the same result as a tune. If you are under warranty might be a better idea and much easier than buying another ECU to swap or sending ECU back in.

Welcome...

Also agree w/ alfissimo on this one... piggyback all the way

Wow! Nice, looks pretty great already, spoiler and all! In terms of mods you can't go wrong with eurocompulsion for a tune. I'd also recommend Madness autoworks for their maxpower piggyback tune, I have it on my Giulia and I absolutely love it. I'd also suggest adding a BMC Sprint filter and some sort of pedal tune, Madness offers the gopedal and I've heard good things about the seletron one as well. Madness is located in Spicewood which is right outside of Austin and EC has a certified installer in Houston that (may or may not stock parts if you want to get them sooner- although delivery is pretty quick). I will tell you I had issues with my silicone intake and CEL, it just depends on the car to be honest. I would consider the EC v2 intake or the carbon fiber one from Madness as well. All in all up to you, but I have been satisfied with both EC and Madness in the present and past- Again, heard great things about seletron too!

Hello Getrickyj,

Congratulations on your new Giulia! The interior looks great.

Since you're in Austin we would like to invite you to come by the shop and see our products in person. We have our own Giulia and Stelvio at the shop most every day.

Glad you are enjoying your new Alfa.

Happy tuning!
