I have multiple glitches and issue of owning my 2017 Giulia Q4 for less then a month. If I could get some feedback regarding any of my issues. Please feel free to provide your input.

First issue found was infotainment system would reset by itself at times. Was taken in to dealer and was told there was no current updates. Along with other module updates.

Second issue was passenger power seat intermittently doesn't work. Technician mentioned that he disconnected and reconnected power seat. Tested pin "looseness". Seat worked from there. Still have issues though. Brought back to dealer again.

Third issue was that the clear lens for speedometer rattles at times. Car still at dealer.

Other glitches:

Auto stop didn't work until a couple days of owning. I assumed it was the battery state of charge. I don't even use it LOL

The sunroof shade didn't work one time until I held the switch in the closing position for a while and it sort of reset by me doing so.

During Lane Departure Warning, I sometimes hear a slight static coming from the passenger side speaker when the warning chimes.

For people with the 8HP50, only in dynamic mode using the manual mode without paddle shifters, does anyone experience erratic shifting. Is this normal? In drive I do not feel any type of shifting issues, only seems to be when using the manual mode in dynamic.

Other than these issues I am truly in love with this car! First new car. First Alfa and it is truly an amazing car. I it is comfy, sporty, and defiantly an eye catcher to people. I appreciate in advance for your feedback!

Welcome to the forum David :)
Congrats on your new Giulia :grin2:

This post was caught in moderation, I just approved it.

If your dealer can't or won't work with on these issues, to your satisfaction, you can call FCA and file a formal complaint. I done that a few times with my 4C, fortunately our Giulia hasn't given us any issues.

Several forum members have reported the infotainment system resetting unprovoked. I believe there is an update. Rather than believing your dealer, check the version number and compare with what people have published here as current.

Auto start-stop not working until the battery has sufficient charge is expected behavior. I'm not sure why PDI doesn't include a full charge on the battery.

Sunroof and window position calibration need to be done after any disconnect of power. Instructions are in the owners manual. Your dealer should have done this for you.

Static problems with the HK audio have been reported, although the symptoms are quite a bit different than what you listed. Do you have the HK audio? A few people have had issues with loose bits in the door vibrating at certain frequencies (very difficult to isolate, btw). Have a look at what has been posted. There may be an RRT for the vibration problems.

Several dashboard noises have been posted (you are the first that I recollect with the lens rattle). Please keep us posted regarding any fix attempts, successful or not.
