Mechanic in NYC area

Hey everyone, Just bought a Giulia Quadrifoglio out of state. Didn’t drive it—trusted a clean PPI and Carfax. Day one, it shut down in the middle of the street. No limp mode, just turned off and wouldn't turn back on, Dash gave a “Service Throttle Control” warning. Had to get it towed. Not even 24 hours in and I’m already dealing with this mess.
I’m in Queens, NY and need a mechanic who actually knows these cars. Currently have it at a NJ Alfa dealer and after their initial 500$ for Diagnostics which they initially said all was well, the car shut down on them on a test drive and gave them a lot of miscommunication errors ,they want another 2200$ to go over the entire car as they said the will need to take seats out etc. This is not to repair just to diagnose it as they say it will take many hrs.
Anyone else had this exact issue? Appreciate any advice, shop recs.
Thanks

This shop in brooklyn seems pretty knowledgeable in alfas. Can inquire there:

If you have one of the earlier model years, there is a known issue where the ecu harness can chafe against the body while driving, causing the wiring to wear and leading to electrical issues. I'd check the ecu wiring also if battery was changed. If the issue presents while the car is moving/accelerating/stopping that seems like the likely culprit

I have 2018 alfa, car shut down on me 5 times. Dealer did software update which did nothing. Battery is new as well.

I replaced fuel pump and module myself, and no issues since so far. Before, even with fuel gauge showing 1/4 tank, car would shut down thinking its out of fuel

I would replace them in your place

What year qv. Battery and software are first two suggestions. Fuel pump if it's an early car

Try Miller motors in Greenwich. That's where I go for service

Thank you all for your input.
Update:
I had an independent mechanic replace the fuel pump, body control module, and fuel pump control module. The car ran fine for one day, but the next day it wouldn’t turn off, the AC stopped working, and multiple warning lights appeared (blind spot, park sense, service dampers, check engine, etc.). The engine eventually turned off only after opening the door, and after turning the car on and off five times, all lights cleared and it drove normally, but the problem returned the following day.
I never heard back from the independent mechanic.
I then contacted the out-of-state dealer who sold me the car (not an official Alfa dealer). They replaced the battery and are currently testing the vehicle. So far, it’s running well, but I’m skeptical this will be a permanent fix as when I bought the car came with a receipt that it had the battery changed 3 months ago.
I’m concerned the issues may persist and would appreciate any advice or similar experiences from the community.
Thanks

will take there once I get the car back, heard good things about them , and will just follow up at dealers from now on . Should have left the car at the initial dealer in NJ, better pay more and get the car actually fixed
Yeah definitely try Miller. The money you pay will be worth the headache
