My dealer told me that the last day to order a 2018 was May 10th. Has anyone else heard this?

It seemed early to me too but I have never ordered a car before. There isn't a Giulia specked the way I want it within 600 miles of me. He said that he could get pricing on 2019's next week.

This is approximately the timeline for the 2017/2018 changeover, yes. If that holds, 2019s aren't being built just yet, but no new orders on 2018s. I was able to get my hands on a copy of the 2018 order sheet on June 16. Said it was issued May 11th 2017.

(Because it's still a severe sore spot, it said CarPlay would come standard on all 2018s. I still don't have it.)

I heard something from my dealer that Alfa Romeo had stopped all new Giulia orders from coming in due to new EU CO2 emission regulations...

For the spec you want will the pube the same? I see some things on the Q.V. creeping up I would guess all models will to some degree.

Pardon my typo - ordered 5-2017 - delivered 11-2017. Obviously it is not yet 11-2018. lol.

Fly to one and drive it home. Pricing for stuff on the lot right now is excellent. No reason to wait and pay full price on top of it

I think the 6 months reflected model year change over and european vacation shutdowns, along with the typical stuff.

I was told 4-6 months from my local dealer in March when we went to order the 2018. We flipped to finding one on the lot. At that time we were looking local and local was not going to guarantee any pricing rebates or discounts. A good way to get you to buy off the lot. We did order off the lot just not theirs because they didn't have the spec I wanted.
