How many Quads for the US?

Does anyone know how many Quads are allotted for the US market? Do dealers have to sell a certain amount of Giulias before they can even get a Quad?

I always felt like dealers missed the opportunity to offer aftermarket stuff to separate themselves. Why wouldn’t dealers offer cars with tint or wraps already? Cost like $300 a car to tint. Only offer on sales not leases but could be the difference in choosing over another dealer. Especially with the struggling QV sales. A dealer who wraps one in matte black or underground 6 green, orange or Yellow. Limited warranty on the wrap just like the paint. I think they would have easier times selling IMO. Telling me a murder out QV wit matte black. Carbon fiber roof. Black technicos. Black calipers, Quadrifoglio badge shining. Easy sell.

Usually the way this is done is through a third party that approaches the dealer and offers a service. Many times, these types of services are very easy to include; such as paint protection (3M, Ceramic, tints...)

I haven't seen anyone offer wrap, which would be cool. But also I know there's a liability involved with all of these options, whether be it on the business, the third party or the consumer and a good wrap is pretty pricey.
Mine came

Mine came with tint from the dealer. It was one of those add ons I told them I wasn’t paying for during price negotiation.

@AlfaOhio, could you guys respond to this thread's original question?. How many QVs have been sold in the US since its launch is 2017?. I did not read all the 11 pages of this thread but I assume that the question is still open or at least, it needs to be updated. I can find the data in Internet of all the Alfa Romeo's sold in the US by month and by year but, it does not show specifically the QVs sold. By the way, how Oct20 sales in the US looked like?. More than 1,629?

Hi- I don't have a way of looking that up, but will ask our rep at the next opportunity. I can tell you that as of today there are currently 37 Giulia QVs for sale on dealer lots and 11 in transit.

@AlfaOhio, thanks in advance for the follow up. It would be really great to now how many QVs have been sold since 2017 in the US.

How might one get access to the list of those 37 it he US? The Alfa US site allows to search inventory but it's limited to a 250 mi range of any location, making it impossible to search the US, unless you have a lot of time on your hands. And even that search sucks. The Alfa USA site says there's one in Santa Monica, but when I go to that dealer's site it says they don't have one.

FCA doesn't allow me to publish the list but feel free to give me a call at 216-716-3107 and I'll go over it with you. If you're looking exclusively at CA cars: Westlake has a Vulcano Black QV, McKevitt has an Alfa Rosso QV, and Alfa Romeo fo Marin has a Trofeo White car... not to advertise on the forum, but I have a Vesuvio Gray QV with a substantial discount and free shipping (I ship to CA all the time) so that's an option as well!
Happy Friday,

I was curious, so I reached out to Customer Support...

"Thank you for contacting FCA US LLC.

According to our records, there were 59 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio RWD units built in Rosso Competizione Tri-Coat paint for the 2019 model year, of those, there were 8 Nero Edizione units built. "

Enjoy your weekend
Cheers
sweet. I’m on of those. No wonder so many car guys stare at it.

@AlfaOhio, did you have the chance to ask your rep about how many QVs have been sold in the US since 2017?. Not only in your dealership but, in the US. The US data available in Internet is by Quarter and the whole Alfa Romeo sales all 4C/Stelvio/Giulia together.

Great news, I think. Someone published in the Facebook NA Alfa Romeo Group an article with the Alfa Romeo sales in the last quarter of 2020 in the U.S.

Alfa Romeo finished out 2020 with quarterly total sales of 6,093 vehicles, an increase of 21% versus the 3rd quarter, and full-year sales of 18,586, a 2% increase over the previous year. This is great news, I think, considering that overall, total cars U.S. sales for the quarter declined 8% while full-year cars sales were down 17%.

Well Done Alfa Romeo U.S. !!!!.

That is still a well kept secret. Don't understand why dealers can't share that information. In any case, the help in 2020 came from the Stelvio (+9% vs. 2019) although Giulia sold +10% in OND-2020 vs. OND-2019. The only bad months of Alfa Romeo in 2020 in the US were really Mar20 and Apr20 (fuck Covid19!!!)

I would think used QV sales are equal or more than new models at this point.

Pretty hard to pass up a $30k discount with only 12-15k miles on the clock.
