don't you mean 2016 delivery?...the cars hit Baltimore in September-ish?? or there abouts...I had heard 60 QVs were at the port...for dealersThe initial late 2015 delivery to the USA netted 90-ish Quadrifoglio's. 20 of which were supposed assigned as "corporate" cars (press cars).
Even the smallest Alfa Romeo dealers seemed to have sold one Quadrifoglio.
Seems like a few more cars were recently imported with VIN's in the 30k range.
Who knows how many will arrive through 2017. My dealer had 2 initial allocations and they think they have 3 sold for the year.
Somewhat of an exclusive club at this point!
again @Eric...your telling me you got a QV at Christmas 2015??? a FULL YEAR...because I got mine on 12-28-16 this past Christmas..I think you might be confusedWell, some of us actually had cars in 2015They arrived at Midlantic dealers right around Xmas.
Alfa Romeo will sell a lot of the Quadrifoglio's I'm sure. The market is there especially (in my opinion) because most of the vloggers, magazines and other journalist outlets are rating the car at #1 above AMG and BMW.
Now it is up to Alfa Romeo to allow supply to match the demand.
Talked with another dealer recently and they are allowed one (1) Quadrifoglio allocation per month. The problem is... they sold 2 (one Feb, one March) and there is no delivery status in sight. Order now and receive it in 2018? Lots of frustration for potential owners.
I'm sure they will sell verrrry well if they are available to sell !
Herb Chambers in Somerville MA has a Black QV for sale....think it is still available...There were 2 Ti's and a QV here at Central Alfa on the Norwood Auto Mile. Up the street from Ferrari/Maserati of New England. They all sold by the end of last month. There is a Lusso there now with the high spoke wheels and they should have a Blue and Tan Ti arriving soon. I think the sale rep said they had another QV coming in too. Not sure. Other dealers in the area include Herb Chambers near Worcester. Norwood is Ernie Boch territory. Got to say hi at the TDF reveal party last month.
Is it a custom order or not?I was told only 8% of all the Giulias produced will be the QV version.
The local dealer here has 13 QVs allocated and they have a year waiting list. Looks like they will be tough to come by.
I was lucky and got an allocation early and my car should be arriving in the next 3-4 weeks!
Yes, I was able to custom order the car.Is it a custom order or not?
I actually bought their Rosso Competizione Quadrafoglio at Central for $2,095 off MSRP almost 3 weeks ago. There were 2 Ti's and a QV here at Central Alfa on the Norwood Auto Mile. It's actually their Millbury, MA Alfa location. They have two Alfa dealerships. The other one is 4 miles from my house in Wayland, MA. That location is already the largest Alfa dealer in Massachusetts but have not even gotten their first Quadrafoglio and they are pissed. Probably because they did not have the showroom done in time for the first QV deliveries. They are only expecting 5 Quadrifoglio for the entire year but have a list of 20 serious buyers.Herb Chambers in Somerville MA has a Black QV for sale....think it is still available...
Miller Motor Cars in CT?Yes, I was able to custom order the car.
The local dealer sold more 4Cs then any other dealer in the US. They are a high end dealer selling Ferrari Maserati Mclaren Bugatti Rolls Royce Bentley and Aston Martin. They have some pull with Alfa USA to get more cars and be able to get the cars their customers want.
Tri-competizione red, Sparcos with red stitching, carbon ceramics.
Everything I wanted, minus the manual! I delayed my allocation until I could drive the demo QV with the ZF. Wasn't sure I was still going to buy the car without a manual, but the car is absolutely phenomenal. Had to have it!

Sweet! I took pictures of that car. How is it doing now? How was the negotiation. David said they had a 10K markup on it and it seemed fair then. Busy at work and can't remember the threadsI actually bought their Rosso Competizione Quadrafoglio at Central for $2,095 off MSRP almost 3 weeks ago.
Car is great! 600 miles + and solid. Although, I've stayed away from the hornet's nest (window tinting, remote start, etc.). Want to drive more but need to weather and road salt to agree. May be sitting for a bit with the anticipated Northeaster. :-(Sweet! I took pictures of that car. How is it doing now? How was the negotiation.
