Just picked up my 2017 Giulia Ti rwd. I plan on lowering it a little bit with some so springs. For the wheel/tire setup I am wanting to use 18x9.5 +35 with 245/40r18 all the way around. I have tried searching to see if anyone has ran this setup, or any 18x9.5s and haven't seen anything. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

What suspension are you running? Any spacers? I have come across quiet a few 9.5" wide wheels I like but the lack of people with them on their cars is worrying me a bit.
Stock suspension, this year I'm using 5mm spacers just to square them a bit more to the edge of the fenders but still perfect without.

Here's fun fact, I had an old set of snow wheels from my Audi (OZ superlegera 10 spokes) and wanted them for my Stelvio, ordered a custom set of wheel/hub adapters for them in anticipation of them not fitting. The shop called and they fit without the adapters/spacers! Audi is supposed to be 5/112 and AF is 5/110(?), worth a try if anyone finds a set of this bolt pattern (much more common as they share this with VW and others)

9.5" on the front isn't likely to work. 9" is about as wide as you can practically go on the front axle. I am not sure why you want to run 9.5" on a 245. If anything, 8.5" (or 9") square should run a 245 perfectly. 9.5" is going to be too wide for that tire.

There's a lot of discussion on this here:

9.5 is perfectly fine with a 245, especially something with a wide shoulder like Michelins
Not quite... Michelins jave a more rounded shoulder than basically every other brand (Pirelli, Bridgestone, etc).

245 on a 9.5” will fit but you’re starting to get into an area where that tire is pretty stretched on the wheel and performance will suffer. It’s fine, sure. It’s definitely not ideal though. Said differently, if you had a 245 you could use it until you wore it out but, if you were buying new tires, you wouldn’t buy a 245 for a 9.5” wheel.

Just as example, here’s a PS4S in 245/40/18, max width recommended is 9.5”, actually recommended is 8.5”. Tread width is 8.4” so you’ll be stretching that on a 9.5” wheel…

There is a car in my garage right now with 9.5" wide rims and 245 Michelin PSS's. It's not stretched

The section width is the true width of the tire - which is 9.8" for that tire.

I know you can run a 9.5 on the front, as I have talked with someone that is running 19x9.5 with 245/35r19 and they fit just fine. And I would be perfectly ok running a 255/40r18 on that same 18x9.5 if I knew it would clear up front. Thank you for the input everyone :)

I have some 18" rims from my Audi A3. Replica R8 rims. They are 5x112. I cannot imagine them fitting on the Alfa at 5x110.
They also have near new K120 tires on them too. Slightly narrower I think too.
