I noticed the headlights light up overhead signs like the ones in the freeway. I have never had a car that the lights are focused that high. Has anyone else noticed this. Are mine out of adjustment?

Check in the dark where the "horizon" of the light sits at. Mine is right at hood level.
The street signs have reflective material that lights up even with the smallest amount of indirect light.

The horizontal line seems to be high. The light in the overheads signs I'd very bright. Direct from the head ligjts

High beams or low beams?
Standard or advanced?
I presume that you have "bi-xenon" headlights since you seem to be in the USA.

IIHS failed the standard headlight low beams for "excessive glare".

Too much upward light == can't see in falling snow. Also can't see what is behind a reflective road sign.
Too little upward light == can't read road signs.
Some manufacturers seem to be able to get it right, but certainly not all.

I think one other forum member has complained about upward pointing headlights. I don't know if that was ever resolved.

I was driving a loaner Ti for 5 days and during that time, I had 3 separate cars flash their brights at me while driving at night. There weren't any police or deer ahead, so I'm assuming they thought my brights were on. Maybe the headlights were aimed up too far?

Andrea,

Thx for touching base. As I drive tonight and paid attention the lights appear to be aimed very high. If I can find the time I will go by the dealer. I purchased the car from Southbay Masserati and they just closed the dealership on Friday. Santa Monica Fiat Alfa is close to my office so I Amy give them a try.
