Engine cover, grill, black plastic bits, exposed rubber seals—it’s amazing stuff.I thought about trying cerakote on the front grills but worried it wouldn’t do as well on the smooth plastic. @614 did you do your engine cover as well? I was wondering how you got it looking so good in your detail shot!
Prior any procedures clean and dry your car, after you’ll need a pretty powerful hair dryer (don’t tell your wife/girl🤣) or maybe some industrial one, start to dry the damaged zone gently beginning from the lower temperature. The plastic should to getting back his colour. Let him cool down and cover it by special formula’s liquid from Meguiats, Chemical guys etc, suggest to use it without silicon but it’s up to you, if you prefer glossy surfaces. Personally I using a Koch Plast Star Siliconfrei for all outside plastic and rubber details and seals. If you are living in a sunny region, repeat the sealing very one or two monthsAnyone else experience this? At first I though it needed a scrubbing but it's actually faded.

I used Griots ceramic trim wipes on the faded plastic trim of my Honda CRV. That was over a year ago; the trim is still black and shiny. Griots product ia made by Cerakote but more expensive. Now that I've tested product I'm going to buy that Amazon kit for the Giulia. I've tried all those liquids like 303 and Back to Black and they just don't last.Buy this. You won’t regret it. And you’ll suddenly remember those dark plastic pieces actually have flecks of sparkles in them. Plus, ceramic coating keeps it looking new for a good while.
