Hey all

Looking for good places / ways to mount my go pro in the Giulia. Found behind the mirror there's a tidy subtle space which shows the attached angle (excuse the blur ... was pouring that day) but I'd like something like this
. I don't have a sunroof but wondering if anyone's had any experience / success being able to get an angle like the Ferrari?

Thanks in advance!

The view in the thumbnail is not bad at all!
Can you somehow attach it to the head rest of the passenger seat?

Yeah pretty happy with that, can angle the cam to include less of the dash too, plenty of options there. Want a different angle too. I can attach to the headrest (pretty much anywhere I want to stick a concrete-esque strength mounting sticky) but think the Ferrari is off the back shelf/my rear seats. I've seen some people drill a pipe that sits under the headrest rather than sticking it to the leather.

I suppose suction-cupped to the roof is not an option? I've done that a few times (though not with my Giulia), always using a safety line.

on the outside you mean? I think HPDE events require you drill for that now although I bet it's a good shot! :)

It's great, though my initial attempts featured an inordinate amount of wind noise.

Hero 5 black comes with 'wind noise reduction'.. we'll see how well that does! I'm going to have to switch my language to UK English so I don't have videos filled with "GO PRO SWITCH OFF!" 10 times in a row ;)

Oh, a safety line! LOL! Had a GoPro suctioned to the roof of a Honda Pilot during a drive up the Pacific Coast Highway. It fell off. Driver behind me must have expected it to happen because he stayed far enough behind that it didn't hit his car. Just bounced off the side of the road. Went and got it. Still works!

That's what always scared me about suction mounts for my GoPro on the outside. The tether line worries me too though as it seems it'll keep slapping my paint

The first time I did it I was at my office. I didn't have any kind of rope, so I used a bunch of garbage bags. Boy, did they make a lot of noise in the wind.

I still like the internal view like the Ferrari video best. That is what I have in my racecar.

Reason being you can view drivers' inputs and also in racing situation a wider angle on what was happening around you.
