Motor1.com reports that Alfa will introduce in the upcoming Paris auto show a Giulia Veloce model. The Veloce trim will be an all wheel drive model with a 2 liter 280hp gasoline or with a 210hp diesel engine. The article sadly claims that the only available transmission will be an 8-speed automatic. Beside the Veloce Alfa will also introduce a high efficiency version.

The Veloce is a great news, but I am disappointed with the lack of manual options. What will be the difference between the Veloce and the US Ti trim? Both supposed to have a 2 liter 280hp engine. Does it mean that the Ti will be rear wheel drive only and the Veloce will be all wheel drive? Will there be any other differences? Does it mean that the chance of the Ti being available with a manual just got even slimmer?
