There seems to be conflicting opinions regarding offset for staggered setup on a stock base Giulia.
I find it strange that some are stating that the rears are ET44.5..

So are the staggered 9.0Jx19 setup rears using ET34 or ET44.5 ?
Nearly all the sets I've found on ebay is ET34, but sometimes there's a rare set of ET44.5 listed.

Looking at wheelsize.com it says ET34

103059

ET34:

Using ET34 will give wider stance to "stock" 225/45-18 8.0Jx18 ET33

103064

However, using ET44.5 will only move the tyre closer to suspension..

ET44.5:

103065

I've just mounted staggered 5 holes on my Giulia.

Rear:
9.0Jx19 ET34 255/35 R19
They seem to fit the wheel whels perfect at the rear.

So where does these ET 44.5 origin from?

ET34 makes a lot more sense from an overall engineering perspective. 44.5 would move the entire extra width of the 9" wheel inboard, toward the suspension, like you noted.

Having seen the staggered cars on the lot, it LOOKS as if they wheel is more flush with the fender than my factory 8" wheels, making the ET34 more likely.

If you have staggered ones, just measure the offset of yours and let us know. It's not hard to do. EDIT: I was assuming you have factory Alfa wheels and not aftermarket.

First off, those look awesome and I think I need a set for my car :)

Second, my guess is either whoever stated the 44.5 is correct either was wrong OR had an aftermarket wheel and didnt realize it.

Seems the ET44.5 was never used on any Giulia..

According to the parts catalog:

16”: 7J ET31 (not suitable for NAFTA vehicles)
17”: 7.5J ET33
18”: 8J ET33, for staggered rear 9J ET34
19”: 8J ET33, for staggered rear 9J ET34
19” QV: front 8.5J ET34, rear 10J ET41

Bolt pattern 5x110. Not sure about center size.
