Taking place annually is the championship game of the National Football League and every year automakers come up with attention grabbing commercials to be played during the Super Bowl breaks. Alfa Romeo is no different and this year they have aired not one, not two, but three commercials dedicated to the Giulia Quadrifoglio.

The first of three Giulia QV commercials, titled “Riding Dragons”, runs for a full minute and it talks about the dreams we had as kids; dreaming of flying cars, becoming a powerful boxer or as graceful as a ballerina, and even riding on the backs of dragons. Most importantly, it speaks of staying true to oneself and growth so that when the time comes Alfa Romeo is ready to deliver.

Lasting only 32 seconds, the second ad touches upon all of the Giulia’s strengths including the vehicle’s driving enjoyment and passion. Aptly titled “Dear Predictable”, the Giulia QV is an escape from monotony as drivers become one with the vehicle whilst cruising through mountainous roads and loving every second of it.

Also shorter than “Riding Dragons”, Alfa’s third commercial follows the more traditional Super Bowl commercial layout by focusing specifically on the Giulia near the end of the commercial. Going back to their Italian roots, Alfa Romeo called this one “Mozzafiato” which means breathtaking. This segment covers the Giulia’s beauty and power, how both are enough to both take one’s breath away and give it back.

It was encouraging to see that Alfa Romeo participated in one of the largest advertising ventures in the USA.

The number of calls the next day "wasn't that your car in the SuperBowl ads?" Why yes it was. I install my Euro license plate quite often! Ha.
