Unfortunately I took a nail in my rear left tire (in the tread but close to the sidewall). It looks like I need to replace the tire so I have a few questions:

1) Does anyone have a solid all-season replacement suggestion? I'm learning towards
Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP (225/40R19).

2) Can I get away with just replacing only the rear tires, or do I need to do all four due to the vehicle being AWD?

3) Is anyone running a slightly wider tire on the rear wheels?

The tires have 10,000 miles on them.

Thanks

One tire with 10,000 miles? I'd just replace that one tire with an exact brand/model. If the dealer is the only way to purchase an exact replacement, then that's where I'd buy it.

The other option would be to replace both tires on that axle. I'd stay with stock size and get a tire that I like.

Optionally, you could replace all four with whatever you want. Size and speed rating are important.

It really depends on how much money you want to spend.

I can't speak to the all seasons, but I do run wider tires in the rear.

225/40 Front (8 inch wide wheel)
255/35 Rear (9 inch wide wheel)

I also run 235/35 square all around. 8 inch wide wheel.

So you should be able to get away with replacing 2 instead of all 4.
