While the Giulia doesn’t have many personal firsts for me(those it does have are listed below), where it succeeds are overall drivingfeel and how well everything works together (I think that’s calledintegration).

Column-mountedshift paddles
• DNA switch
• Engine blockheater
• Leather-covered instrument panel and door trim

Here are some Giulia features I alreadyhad on previous cars (first instance shown):

• Heated seats (1984 SAAB 900)
Run-flat tires (1999 Ford Windstar)
Turbocharging (2001 Volvo S80)
All-wheel-drive (2003 Volvo XC70)
• Heated steering wheel (2009 Ford Flex)
Rear-view camera (2010 Ford Fusion)
• Remote start (2010 Ford Fusion)
Adaptive speed control (2012Chrysler 300)
8-speed transmission (2012 Chrysler300)
Bi-Xenon headlamps (2012 Chrysler300)
Electronic parking brake (2014 JeepCherokee)
• Engine Stop/Start (2015 Jeep Cherokee)
Made in Italy (2017 Jeep Renegade)

What’s new for you fromGiulia ?

This is my first automatic (auto-manual?) car. I'm totally thrilled with the millisecond upshift and downshifts and do not miss the clutch pedal at all.

First....
* automatic
* time above 500HP
* Italian car
* External CF
* Stop/start (don't use it)
* Rearview camera
* time ever been pulled over three times in three days
* time driving at 160mph (faster than when I drove a stock-car at Daytona)
* adaptive cruise
* rear cross traffic (love that)
* auto emergency braking
* auto dip brights (actually really like that)
* heated steering wheel

Firsts:
Remote start (works every time and has a remarkably long range)
Adaptive cruise control (love it)
Heated steering wheel (kicks in very quickly)
Run flats (don't like the whole concept of them. They ride just fine, but always fearful I'll be stranded out of town waiting for a tire.)
Engine stop/start (stupidest, most useless and annoying "feature" ever built into a car)
Most importantly . . .
First Italian car (amore a prima vista!)

First time I've ever had hordes of young chicks asking me for a ride!
