I live within four miles of an Alfa dealer located in Glenview, IL that opened in the last year or so. I went there to get an oil change that was surprisingly expensive. I received a message from someone at the dealership after I had picked up the car informing me that they found a small leak in the radiator and it would cost a bit over $2,000 to replace it. That was four months ago and I have seen no evidence of any leak nor has the temperature ever risen above normal in all driving conditions. Needless to say this has left a bad taste in my mouth, though all previous dealer experiences were average at best. I love my car but the dealer situation is awful. Given Alfa's niche role in the U.S., you can't afford anything less than great service priced fairly.
The leaking radiator is a known issue and quite common. Mine never overheated, the only clue was a consistent, slow drop in coolant reservoir.
The only way to see the leak on mine was by removing the undercarriage trays while changing my oil. Mine was repaired under warranty.
Feel free to pm if you have any questions.

When I bought my 2019, I was happy that Boise had a dealer. One month after delivery, they closed up tighter than a drum in May or June of 19. Not happy now that the closest dealer is 4.5 hours away in Salt Lake. I really thought by now that another dealership would have picked up Alfa in Boise. While the dealer in SLC has been good, getting the car there and back using AR Roadside Assistance has been a nightmare, with the transporter damaging the car the last time it went. They did not acknowledge the damage and it took forever for the lame third-party insurance to pay for a new windshield. Never again will I let ARRA handle my car. Please set up a dealer in the Boise area.

I think instead of accessibility you might want to focus on quality first. I'm sure that's been brought up in this thread already, but it bears repeating. Some of the dealer staff and some of the dealers in their entirety are absolutely clueless about Alfa or how to deliver any type of service.

I am about 7 miles away from what is certainly one of the best Alfa dealers in the US, Ed Morse Alfa Romeo.
My dealership in Greensboro NC is closing. Very frustrating as now itll be a ~80 mile drive to the nearest one. Its a shame since I thought both service and sales teams were awesome to work with. My only gripe (I swear this applies to like 99% of dealerships & shops though) is the wicked bad wifi quality.
My local dealer is about 6 miles from my house. There are 2 others within 30 miles or so.
I do have a dealer about 11 miles from me, but usually go to my sale dealership for service, which is about 23 miles. The bigger issue right now is a parts back up that is a bit of a joke. I’ve been waiting for a door weatherstripping and set of wipers for a few months now with no sign of a date. It’s worse than when we were in the early days of Covid.
Hi Theo,

Are you still waiting for your part? If so, can you provide the name and location of the dealership you're working with? We'd like to look into if we assist with prioritizing and expediting your part order.

Purchased a new Guilia this year at Crown in Columbus, they're about 16 miles from me and the only Alfa dealer. Shortly after I curbed the tire a little and thought it'd be an easy fix since I bought the tire/wheel package but when I contacted the dealer I was told they'd need the car for aprox 4 days and couldn't offer me a loaner at the time but possible in a month or so. Said they'd get back with me...that was in August, it's almost January, I've heard nothing.
Hi there,

Have you been able to get in contact with this dealer? Once you do have an appointment in place, if you let us know the date and location, we can offer some further support from one of our agents.

Hello Lex and thanks for the reply. I had just called my service rep yesterday and he informed me my parts should be in this Friday. Have an appointment next Wednesday. Westbury Alfa in Long Island, NY.

Have not reached back out to the dealer, Lex. We've sort of been looking for a decent window when we can be without the car for 4 days and with holidays, travel etc this hasn't been the time. Probably try later this month.

68 miles for me—Dealership is not even selling Alfas anymore (Chekered Flag “Alfa” Newport News, VA). I was referred to the dealership by a mechanic actually for some work and I hope they continue to service the vehicles even though the are no longer selling them.
Just a quick update. I sent my car in for service. When I got it back I realized they didn’t fix what I sent it in for(start/stop inoperable). I’ve been trying to get a hold of my service adviser for weeks now with no progress. I call, no answer. I leave a messages, no call back. My rear defrosters went out so I’ve been very motivated to get it fixed since it’s currently winter. I will probably end up taking a few hours off of work to physically drive down to the dealer to make an appointment for service in person.

Incredible to see almost 200 votes and even better, than almost half of of the voters have a dealership within 20 miles. With this very limited data (there are 100,000 Alfa Romeo owners in the US the past 6 years) and with the amount of cars sold per year (12,000 in 2022), the number (and availability) of dealerships in the country is evidently not a problem. The problems are 1) customer service and 2) technical capability to the majority of the dealerships. Get ready for more dealerships to shutdown (Alfa Romeo will not sell more than 25,000 cars per year in the US) and hopefully, Alfa Romeo will focus on increasing the customer service and the technical capability of all the few the dealerships remaining.

Dealership near me never has loaners, although Alfa program advertises it. Auidi and BMW always accommodated me.
Hi TJ,

We'd like some additional details about this. Could you please send us a message with the name of your dealership? Thank you.

I think your data is skewed a bit because they are asking in a forum that tends to attract enthusiasts. There are underserved parts of this country where it wouldn't be wise to own one of these cars. You're not hearing from the regular folks stuck in a lease after a dealer disappears and theres nothing for hundreds of miles.

This is my fear about my dealership. It’s the only one in my state. I can’t drive to another state being in the middle of the ocean. I can’t think of any other reason why they never answer the phone and don’t call back.

Hi there!

Knowing that there is only one dealer in your state is understandably stressful. We would love to offer our support alongside that dealer, should you need to visit them for repairs. Please know that we are available via private message if you need assistance.

I have two within about 30 miles, not super close but I would only go for warranty work anyway.
