Is the tri-coat a big improvement over a standard paint job?
Well, since she might also be the boss, that will be just fine."PS: White would be great as that is the same exact color as 95% of the BMW's on the road!"
my wife has picked two white bmw's with grey leather interior.
the coming Alfa is also white, but pearl and the interior is a darker grey - so she went for the red door trim to brighten it up a bit.
 Aspiring brand ambassadorOh this is a huge no-brainer. No way do you want to select the plain old (stunning) Afla Rosso Red like on my Giulia.
The plain old red avoids the $2200 extra for the tri-coat. Your friends will think you are a cheapskate like me!
The plain old red is gorgeous bright red in the sun (deeper red in the shade), no speckled spots and attracts folks from miles around like flies to gawk!
The plain old red looks especially awesome with the yellow brake calipers. Folks will mistakenly think it is a Ferrari!
You will have herds of screaming young chicks asking you for a ride.

Nothing wrong with Alfa Red. Now, I will say the Rosso Comp is a bit schizophrenic. The sun is shining on her she thinks she is Alfa Red super bright then the shade comes in and you get this Monza red. She does sparkle in the sun so now who does not like sparkles.Oh this is a huge no-brainer. No way do you want to select the plain old (stunning) Afla Rosso Red like on my Giulia.

If there's one thing I've learned owning fast cars it's that they captures the attention of far more boys and men than women. You will have herds of screaming young chicks asking you for a ride.
+1 , like the Volcano Black.Mine is Volcano Black what a sweet color when the sun hits it around 4 pm.
Tri-Coat Rosso and Red calipers. If you are not going with CCMs the yellows are going to look dirty quickly. I have CCMS but I do have the Tri on Red combo and most people say they wouldn't think the yellow belongs. Sure I would like to bring attention to the huge rotors which yellow will do but would not if they were steel. Not a popular position but I was going to change the color on my calipers to yellow after I got my QV and now well I am glad I didn't. I also stuck with the dark tecnico vs dark teledial. So what I wanted at first would have worn on me quickly. Glad I thought long and hard about it first.Less than a month away, need to narrow down my decision...
Trofeo White w/Red Calipers
OR
Rosso Competizione w/Yellow Calipers
I also chose Monte Carlo Blue, which I felt was the best, but it does show dust and dirt easily.I went with Monetcarlo Blue..................found this site that has a nice comparison of the main color choices:

I always wanted a blue color car, but in every other car i have had the blue color did not look all that great, but this one is the one for me.
It really doesn’t, mine goes weeks without a wash and still looks good.I also chose Monte Carlo Blue, which I felt was the best, but it does show dust and dirt easily.
Mine is a QV and I'm running with flaps open all the time on smaller back roads for fun, so maybe that's why I'm accumulating dust more than others? It really doesn’t, mine goes weeks without a wash and still looks good.
