So since there doesn’t look like a 2021 TI Sport is going to fall in my lap, I’m leaning toward keeping my 2018 Base, as I like my combo more than a new base... and I only have 23,000 miles. So with that, I really want to think about the Mopar extended warranty. I know also, most forum members purchased it online. Any recommendations from the audience? I don’t want to find out that either it doesn’t cover anything, or if I don’t spend $700 every six months on maintenance, ditto.

I bought a MOPAR extended warranty last week for my QV from here

Request a quote and you'll be set by Monday.

Prices jump after the car is beyond 36 months old.

Thanks for the helpful tips on this. My car hits three years in two months so I better move. The one fear though, if my dealer comes across with a 2021TI deal... doubtful. Also, the concern that I need to adhere to rigid maintenance schedules, lest I void a claim.

I went with clay but you could try calling Mopar directly; that's how I bought my wheel and tire insurance

Ok. Last question on this topic. Did anyone find the Max package the way to go?

If that's the most coverage then yes. Go big or go home is my motto. If it's worth doing, it's worth over doing; another motto lol

It’s the only way to go IMO.

I think almost everyone here did. I think the cost difference isn't that much so why not take the least chance of something not being covered later.

But here is a good comparison if you really want to compare:

Incredibly helpful Alfisti! I did just hear that it’s better to wait till you’re at the 4 year mark, when the original car warranty is expiring to get a plan! Can that be true?

I bought a 7 year 60K mile Max Care with a 100 deductible for $900 for my AWD Giulia
That is a good deal.

I think I paid about $2,000 for mine at the time of purchase.

I was told the opposite. The longer you wait, i.e. higher mileage, the more expensive it gets

I was advised same as you. Bought the 8yr/60k plan w/$100 deductible for $1105 2 months after purchasing the car.

Yeah, that included about a 350 savings from a discount code..and was also about $700 cheaper than the quote I got from the dealer I work for...:)
