Hi,

I'm going to be away and not drive the car for 40 days. Is it good idea to disconnect the battery? I live in an older building, I don't see an outlet for trickle charger anywhere near my garage.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's a new battery in your car. It will last for a long time without needing to be recharged.
