I have used AlfaOBD significantly for my Ram 1500 way before the Giulia was released. It looks like most use MES on this forum, but since I already purchased it I thought I would use it (and it has Alfa in the name...)
I finally took the time to hook it up to the Giulia. I was able to connect to the instrument cluster and BCM but could only make changes on instrument cluster. Received buffer full error on the BCM (ordered a grey adapter).
The instrument cluster did have one setting I made was disabling the seat belt chime. PSA: I don't condone no seatbelt, but I really dislike the obnoxious ding in scenarios.
It also has the service data reset option for after oil change/service too.
If anyone else use alfaOBD and has any insight please share and/or if you had the buffer full error, if the grey adapter resolved it.
