Has anyone tried to use a windshield mounted nav unit, just wondering if it will work with the infared windshield, I have a very good garmin unit nuvicam, I might try it tomorrow?
RV760 has been a very reliable tool. I have been using it for about 9 months of RV travel. Overall does a fine job. You can compare several GPS options on https://productadvisor.com/best-rv-gps-system/ . Like all GPSs, mine will not be correct all the time.
My personal opinion: Get a smartphone mount and use Google Maps/Waze instead. They can give live traffic/construction updates, and map updates are continuous and free.
