Desirable PROXI Configurations

Scattered around the forum are many threads with great information about making desirable changes to the car's software. For my own use I've created the attached spreadsheet in Excel to gather everything I could find into one quick reference point. Thought others might find it useful too. The hope is that some or all of the experts in the referenced threads will proofread what is on the sheet and let me know if there are errors. And if anybody has additional items for the list, please let me know! We are truly indebted to the people that dig in and unearth these software goodies for the rest of us to use!

Edit: I fixed a couple of errors I found and added several more items thanks to @Ghazala and @rimoczia. Happy to add more if somebody points to them! The attachment is the revised document.

The guys that have a lot of knowledge of proxi values, seem to be in the Euro market. These guys may be able to contribute to the proxi table with their knowledge: @shpuncik , @stocki , @ratix.

Great initiative. There's this thread with some additional driving assistance features. Level 2 autonomous driving activation

oh wow, I didn't know the headlight washers could be disabled via PROXI! I used the wiper squirted literally once since I've owned the car, because of the 2 giant streaks of washer fluid up the hood. With this, I can actually clean my windows while driving! Ain't technology great. (I previously did the "double paddles = neutral" which serves zero practical purpose beyond making me happy the 1 time in 10,000 when the M5 is revving next to me at the stop light.) Great info!

Thanks, I will add those. One question: When you mention using the logic OR function with 0x80, what does the 0x80 mean? I had thought from other threads that this nomenclature was the binary equivalent of the hex with four of the bits left off but with an "8" in it that seems unlikely. Nice work, by the way.

Thx. It is the hex representation of the bytes indeed, e.g.:
0xA2 = 10100010

0x80 = 10000000 (bit #8 set)
0x02 = 00000010 (bit #2 set)
0x20 = 00100000

0xA2 = 0x80 | 0x20 | 0x02 = 10100010
Aha! Thanks!
@Ghazala bits in byte are counted from 0 to 7

Byte 106 is decimal number of proxy bytes (basically length) in hex

Byte 121 bit 0 = 1 Compass enabled

AA/ACP:
Byte 115 has to be 15
Byte 157 bit 0 has to be 1
Byte 161 has to be 03
Thanks @rimoczia. For the AA/ACP are those the hex values as shown in proxi?
For byte 115 and 161, yes. For byte 157, bit 0 has to be changed only. For example, if it is originally 30 (hex) it should be changed to 31 (hex)

Hi, does anyone have a photo or a proxy file of an American or Canadian Giulia my20/21/22, or in any case with Remote Start to read the driver comfort menu byte?
or do you know the configuration of bytes 78 and 148 for driver climate comfort on an ETM my20?
I had enabled everything on the ETM my19 and I had it on the display now comfort works with my20 but I no longer have the menu.
thank you
Bump. See initial post for new list of proxi configurations. Thanks for the input.
@alfan have you thought putting list into google spreadsheets online? would be easier to do changes and updates.
will try to find time on weekend to see what else could be added.

Ciao si ho guardato, ma non credo sia possibile far tornare sul nuovo ETM my20 il menù confort conducente, i byte sono giusti ma non appare a menù, mentre è rimasto attivato e funziona comunque a 4°

That probably means there is another byte that controls the menu and I don't know what it is. Maybe someone knows and can report it. I will add it to the list if we know what it is.

@luvec74 Have you been able to fix the auto-on comfort menu on the MY20+ ETM?
No ancora no, non so se dipende dal body, come per i manometri pressione turbo e olio …….occorrerebbe il body my20
We are trying to turn on auto-on comfort on a MY21 EMEA QV and nothing happens. It has MV131.000.002 ETM SW and 9.00 CSWM SW. We changed byte78 bit6 and byte148 bit5 and nothing happened, menu did not appear, function is not working. We did exactly the same on a MY19 Stelvio and it worked, menu appeared, function works 100%.

@luvec74 I don't think it is body computer related as it also doesn't work on MY21 QV.

Any ideas or experience from someone who succesfully retrofitted this on MY20+ cars?
It would be really appreciated.
