I've recently been paying particular attention to other cars' paint. Some may look fine, but the front ends are littered with smashed bugs. I decided I'm going to wipe the front end of my car often, maybe every night.

Any guidance? Would a wet microfiber towel work? As long as the bugs aren't dried yet, I figure this should not cause any scratches.

Bugs are not as much of a problem as stones and road debris....they will really screw up the paint....think about getting the car wrapped....a bit of an expense but worth it...
At least the front fascia, hood , front fenders and rockers....

I use the Wolfgang sealant and it came with a detailer bottle spray which I use for bugs n bird crap etc, works well not a lot of scrubbing

I have the front clear bra and I apply paste wax, the bugs just wipe off with a damp microfiber cloth.

Cleaning off bug spatter

I find bugs wash off pretty easily. 100 miles or so of driving in the rain also often does the trick.

I've never tried Goo Gone for bugs, but based on how easily it removed road tar I might try it on bugs.

I use a generic (Armor All?) bug cleaner which does a great job and then follow up with detail spray. Works like a charm.
