My Quad has started a new issue. Anytime while trying to merge on to the highway. I get a check engine light with Oil pressure sensor fault and then immediately a electronic throttle fault and limp mode. After some driving the light resets. And then it does it again while merging. I have checked the oil and shows full. Has anyone else experienced this? I will be taking my car back to dealer soon and hopefully it’s will not be another month without my car.

Sadly the check engine light disappeared again when I started the car to take it to the dealer. When I called the dealer his response was to bring it in when the light comes back. Their expectation is for me to drive the car until it breaks down again. Alfa Romeo truly has no concept of customer service. Every experience I have had with dealers have been bad and worst. Dealer eventually agreed to let me drop the car tomorrow and then I had to convince him on giving me a loaner.....

Thanks for letting me know, Supratmaki. I certainly understand why this is frustrating. As I mentioned, if an additional layer of assistance is needed while you're in service, let us know. We can get this escalated to a Case Specialist.

Hi guys

Got the same error yesterday, after keeping car outside for one week without starting engine. Did second oli change at dealer week ago. Since that time I made like 600km no issue till yesterday. CEL and low oil pressure. What a heck? My car was standing not perfectly in flat orientation, right part of a car was bit higher than left. Could that make this issue? When I moved my car to the flat position on the ground then I did few starts of engine. After some time error passed away. When checking oil pressure on infotainment then when being in ready state it shows 1bar of pressure, after driving a while and keeping car in neutral it is 2.8 or 2.9 bar. Something to be worry about??I did not track the car so far, not being even close to track places due to different reasons :)

My mileage is 9200km, MY2021

Was it having this low oil pressure issue before your oil change, or only after the oil change? Either way, take it back to the dealer, and tell them about the issues.
After. I changed oil 1w ago, drove like 600km without issues, then after 1 week of not starting engine it appears, but for now there is no more CEL when starting it. Wondering if the fact that my car was standing tilted could have some impact on it? Dealer advises to come to them to perform engine leakage test

Well, I guess that would depend on exactly how tilted the car was.

Was it tilted like you had 1 wheel up on a curb, but the other 3 on level ground? That would be no.

Was it tilted to the point that you felt you were driving Knight Rider between two cars going the opposite direction?

Then yes, that would be a problem.
