my '24 only has very slight gap near the outher edge and it hasn't grown at all. But I definately don't have anyhing like what you are showing in the middle. Like not even close.

 

Really hard to tell from the photos; can you see daylight through to the other side when you look at the spoiler?

No definitely not. Edge tape of whatever black material has about 1mm of play if I push it down it raises up a tiny bit. Just enough for sand and pebbles to get stuck

 

my qv is 8 years old and doesn’t have this issue, so i would especially if your car is brand new and bothers you

 

Yea just wondering if I should try and fix it myself vs dealing with dealer. It’s 40 min from my house unfortunately

 

To fix it properly, you'd need to uninstall the spoiler, clean the surface and reapply your own mounting tape.

It's not difficult but it's time consuming and you'll need a drill with a rubber wheel; doing it by hand absolutely sucks.

 

Yea I’m leaning towards that. Thanks for the tip about the rubber wheel.

Make the dealer fix it right under warranty. You have rocks and sand in there? You’ll be messing with that for years unless you get the dealer to fix it correctly.

 

I got 95% of it cleaned out last night.

 

More concerning that you have rocks flinging back there like that . That said, my guess is that the dealer removed the spolier for a repair or something in that area and then tried to reinstall it.
