I went to the San Diego car show in late December, and to the Houston car show yesterday. I swear, it appears that FCA is not even trying to market Alfa Romeo.

At San Diego, Alfa Romeo was not even on the list of marques present, although there was a platform where a Giulia (not a quad) and a Stelvio sat on display. No literature was present, no one was there to answer questions, no hoopla, nothing but two cars locked up on a platform to be viewed from afar, and a copy of the window stickers on pedestals in front.

At Houston, same thing except they were listed on the map, had the doors open to be looked in from afar, had some brochures available, and a woman was there whose main task seemed to be keeping people from stepping up on the platform to look inside the vehicles closely.

by contrast, the crowd could touch, sit in, ask questions, and have reasonably knowledgeable people answer questions from Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Maserati, etc. Even the Bentley, Aston Martin displays, while keeping the riff-raff out of their vehicles had someone there to talk knowledgably about their cars.

FCA had a huge presence at the show, going all out on the Jeeps and Dodge Trucks (which makes sense, they are the big moneymakers,) but even Fiat had vehicles open for the crowd to sit in and touch, and was staffed with a few people to answer questions and hand out literature.

The Alfas went unloved and virtually ignored.

Sorry to hear that....very stark contrast from their presence at recent NY Auto Shows where they have had the best displays by far (showcasing museum cars and new cars with beautiful and well versed "product specialists").....

Harrisburg, PA Auto Show this weekend.
Giulia Ti and Stelvio at the Dodge display in one building, and,
in the "Premium" building, several Giulias and Stelvios with the Maseratis (Faulkner display).

Yeah, I thought the presence at the Harrisburg show was good. The Quad was getting a LOT of attention when we were there.
