Hello all, new member here in DFW. Just got my Giulia last night. I'm so far having one issue, which is that the Bluetooth doesn't reconnect automatically every time I start the car. So far it just goes back to the radio every time I start it, and when I flip to Media it just displays 'Connect' and I need to hit it again to reconnect it. Any thoughts?

If you have the memory seats you can program for the media to come on whenever you start. The seat will remember outside mirror positions, front drivers seat position and infotainment setting.

I'll give this a shot, I do have the memory seats, just haven't set them yet. Thanks.

The memory seats have nothing to do with the infotainment. Do you have an android or apple? My android auto connects.

Some phone manufactures of android have an auto reconnect setting. Go to the Bluetooth settings and click the gear next to the alfa connect and see if you have a setting.

You are wrong they most certainly do. If you have the Media or Radio which ever one you have at the time of setting the memory seat that is stored. It works on my car all the time.. Matter of fact I have memory 1 set for Media and I have memory 2 set for radio. It works every time.

No way. Show me in the manual where is says that. The radio will tune in to where you left it if you have that turned on. Are you saying you can change audio input by picking a different seat position...after the car has started?

here is what the manual says, I have never heard of memory seats having anything to do with audio settings

Driver Memory Seat
The driver memory seat buttons can store and recall three different driver’s seat positions as well as outside power mirror positions. Storing and recalling is possible with the ignition in the ON or STOP positions and the driver’s side door closed, or for three minutes after having opened the driver's side door. The performed position memory is confirmed by a beep. To set a memory profile, first adjust your seat (and power mirror position if desired) with the various controls until you are in the desired position. Then, push the specific button you want to assign the set position to for 1.5 seconds. When a new seat position is memorized, the previously memorized position on the same button is automatically overwritten. Recalling a memorized position is also possible for approximately three minutes after the doors are opened and approximately one minute after the engine is stopped. To recall a memorized position, push the relevant button briefly.

I know what the manual has the only thing left off was the page number. I'm telling you on mine I have preset seat memory 1 for Media when I press that button it changes to Media. I also have seat memory button 2 stored with Radio and when I press the number 2 button it changes to radio. I just went out in the garage and tried it. It works on my vehicle, I have the Q4 Ti with Hk Stereo

I have not tried this when I have been driving. Only right after starting the car.

Memory on seats is not just for seats, it also remembers mirror positions.....some manufacturers go even further, bmw and audi had ofr years memorized preferences connected to keys.....wife would get in the car with her key and everything from steering wheel, mirrors, seats and media would change......i do not think giulia goes that far but also it is not necessary

I agree it's possible but mine with the hk doesn't do that. I'll try again in the morning to make sure I didn't have the same source chosen

Tried this on mine and it does not work either. Maybe you have a newer software update that I don't.
