I have the below on my 2018. It works well, when backing out you have to wait for the connection as the backup camera does not functional while the connection is in process. Otherwise it works well. CPLAY2air wireless adapter for factory CarPlay on CARPLAY2air.com

Do you notice any difference in the audio quality between a phone call and media?

No difference for me. Quality is the same on calls or audio whether connected or not.

Read the reviews on Amazon. Disregard half the 5 star ones as bogus. I've had the Carplay2Air for 2 years with zero problems.

Thanks but I’m interested right now in the Teeran device.

I use the CPLAY device. Works very well IMHO. Very slight lag in voice calls but not having to 'hitch' the phone to a cable is well worth it.

I use the teeran device... it's great. It has a slight delay which is okay and the sound quality isnt as good as plugged in carplay but it still functions good. When it works it works really well... there are small hiccups here and there. When you have the wireless carplay connected and u plug in ur phone to charge via usb it tries to switch over which starts acting buggy if you have both wired and wireless car play connected... i gotta figure out a way to turn that off or figure out how to charge through my cigarette port instead.

Which wireless CarPlay adapter connects the fastest? I often hop in and put the car in reverse right away and I'd like to avoid any delays with cameras, etc.

i dont think it stops you using your camera. It connects in the backround but does take about 30 seconds

I use this one: Wireless CarPlay Adapter, it's cheap but it works as advertised. I don't see a reason to buy more expensive ones.

It powers on when I unlock the car so when i turn on ignition it's already running.
Two things to notice, audio lags a bit – when you skip a song you'll have to wait for a second or two. Secondly sometimes it can stutter, but that happens rarely.

I think I will give it a go and let you all know how it works!

That one also looks nice. The one I have looks bigger in photos than it is. I put mine in central console beside all non essential stuff, and I covered it using this tray Inner Console Organizer Armrest Box Insert Tray For Alfa Romeo Giulia 2017-2021 748966304403 | eBay. Now it's much more cleaner and organised as i can leave commonly used stuff on the tray and not look at the mess bellow.

You're welcome. I think it's the same thing, just cheaper on AE. When I charge my phone it doesn't switch to wired ACP, it stays on a wireless one without any hiccups.
