I reported the Ambient Temperature Sensor & A/C issue last month. It has not been fixed. The dealership service back-ordered the rear-view mirror which contains the sensor 3 weeks ago but I haven't heard any update from them yet.

The infotainment system also has been occasionally shutdown but I didn't complaint much about it because it recovers after I turn off and on the car again. ;(

Today two things happened at the same time as I recorded here in the youtube video:

Enjoy the video! ;-) I like the dynamic driving part of alfa romeo giulia. But the general quality of any electronic systems in this car is far below average on its class. I will never lease any vehicle from alfa romeo after my 2 year lease on this Giulia.

The issue has not been fixed. I called the dealership service to check the status of the back order of the parts because it's been 1 month since I visited the dealership. The dealership service agent said that she has found no claims filed and no parts back ordered. Even the mechanic (J), who allegedly filed a claim and ordered the part, doesn’t work there any more. The service agent told me that they will call me back by the end of the day. No call back since then.

The quality of the product and service is the worst I have ever experienced.

On average it happened 2-4 times a week.

Visited the dealership service.
The mechanic (J) took some pictures of the dashboard and the rear mirrors with his smartphone. He didn’t do any “real” diagnosis on the problem. I don’t understand why he asked me to bring the car to the dealership service. He said he will file a claim with the pictures. But, I can take those simple pictures and send them to him without spending 3 hours driving from my home to the dealership and to work.

I called the dealership service 3 times this morning. But they kept transferring my call back and forth and then hung up my call (accidentally or intentionally). I didn't really have a chance to talk to anybody about my issue.

You have a dealer problem. The problems with your car are probably minor and should have been promptly fixed. It is possible that all of the problems that you have observed are caused by a single fault such as a loose electrical connector. Try Glendale Alfa-Romeo, which has been recommended elsewhere in these forums. You are not required to get service at the same dealership where you bought the car.

Also given the other issues, please check your tire pressure before driving the car. Use a gauge or use the TPMS readout on the console in the car. The dealer is supposed to deal with this, but your dealer was apparently not doing a good job.

The dealer needs to open a STAR case. Make sure they are referred to European Te.Se.O. bulletin 015.17.

They'll need to gather some data, inspect for evidence of water intrusion in a few places, perform some voltage and resistance measurements on a few connectors, and send the data back to HQ for further instructions.
