I didn't know where to throw this out there so I went to "new members"....we need a category titled "imprisoned members" ....

Below is an email communique that I received from the dearly departed Alfa908.....

"Hey, please let the mod know that he made a big mistake...I am in the process of registering domain names for a new giulia forum...will be ad free and run on XenForo which is much better than the junk the forum is using. I have done this before with my other forum and caused the shutdown of my competition. I now have over 40,000 members....if you think my statements about alfa were harsh before, it will be nothing compared to what I unleash on my forum...game on...FYI my car was in for service twice after we met...waited a week for the headlight repair as two of the replacements sent by Alfa were defective...I will not stand for a forum admin shutting me down because I have something negative to say about the car or Alfa..."

What a freak. I was joking in another thread about him needing meds, intending to needle him (no pun intended), but I might have been hitting closer to home than I really intended.

If he owns his car his rants may serve to reduce its resale value. Just desserts? Or does the compensation received for his 40,000-member forum make him sufficiently wealthy to make him insensitive to such impacts on his wallet?

Weird, that user gets banned for insulting others -- while I had a user threaten to murder me on this forum, user is still here.

I once took a very high percentage rate of Dodge Viper forum guys to a domain I used to own so I won't say it's not possible.

I didn't do it with malicious intent though - it just kind of happened by accident (they got pissed at the incumbent's administration and found my little site sitting on the web ready to be used). Later, the official car club bought me out.

I also built a great Eleanor community from scratch -- but got rid of it and my Eleanor when my late wife was diagnosed with cancer.

Ah, the memories.
