I got a message on my Stelvio stating I needed to service my brake pads. I checked the outer ones and they seem perfectly fine (maybe the inner ones are low? I gotta get under the car and check to be sure.).

The "Brake" one being on seems to indicate I'm low on brake fluid. Is it possible to add more, or is it a complicated process? I saw some posts on here about flushing out brake fluid, which seems to suggest that simply adding more is not possible and needs to be done by an authorized dealer.

Admittedly, I'm not good at servicing cars myself. I'm certainly no expert. I can do basic things, but the process of flushing out brake fluid with some device seems a little out of my wheelhouse and intimidating. If simply adding fluid if reservoir is close to empty is possible, I'd prefer that. But if there's some complicated process to add brake fluid, I'll probably bite the bullet and take to the dealer. They quoted me $800 or so on the phone.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
