We already have the regular Giulia and the Giulia Quadrifoglio, now Alfa Romeo is coming out with a new variant called the Veloce.
The Giulia Veloce won’t be getting the Quadrifoglio’s power plant; instead it’ll come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine that can crank out 280 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, and an aluminum 2.2-liter turbodiesel that can produce 210 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. Both will be paired with an eight-speed gearbox and Alfa’s Q4 AWD system.
Outside, the Veloce will be sporting a new bumper, gloss black door trim, Quadrifoglio-style rear diffuser with two exhaust pipes, and a set of optional 19-inch alloy wheels. The inside has been tweaked as well with black leather sport seats steering wheel which is offset by aluminum accents in the dash, tunnel, and door panels.
According to AutomobileMag, the U.S will only be getting the turbodiesel engine and on top of the new Veloce model, Alfa Romeo plans to reveal two Giulia Super variants along with a Competition Red Giulia Quadrifoglio at the upcoming Paris show
