$700 is a LOT for an intake, guessing because of the CF construction. Any chance of a plastic version that would be less expensive? Love the design...this thing is straight-up gorgeous, but the CF seems like it's for appearance more so than function.

I had the same issue with intakes for my VW GTI. When Injen released a nice system that was 280 bucks, I impulse purchased.

The AMS intakes for my Q50 RS was like $420 and that was a dual setup, same with the Takeda Stage-2 from my G37. I love this design, especially over the EC v2 where their boxless design invites heat soak, especially in warmer weather. This gives you the advantages of the conical design with the isolation of a proper CAI box.
