Hello and sorry to jack this thread for something tangentially related, but:

The rear plate mount on my Giulia (and likely all others) has drill-outs for euro-style plates that are thinner. This means that only the top two bolts can secure an American-style plate, causing plate to flap around when opening and closing the trunk, and overall providing a less secure plate connection.

Have you guys considered creating an adapter mount that bolts onto all 4 euro points and fits an American plate?

Something like that as never really been a concern for us. Most people and some dealers just put some rubber stoppers in the lower portion of the plate or mount. If you really want to lock it down you can take it off and put on some 3M black mounting tape. It's the same stuff used to secure carbon fiber trim to the vehicle. That way when you reinstall the mount the lower portion will become stuck to the vehicle but you can still remove it later if you ever need to.

It is a well constructed quality mount. However, it arrived without the license plate frame that was supposed to be included. After a call to Madness and a promise it would be sent out: niente. After a e-mail to their customer service: No reply. A small aggravation but not good communication/customer service...

Update: Frame received unannounced. Promise kept. No worries.
