Anyone have the AFE catback or full exhaust? How's the quality? Sound?

+12hp & +15tq vs +10hp & +12tq

if above figures are true, not sure if it's worth extra $300 for 2hp & 3tq gains over axle back.
unless they sound totally different from one another

Im guessing the axleback will actually be louder. Its a muffler delete. Their front section adds a real muffler in 0lace of our small resonator. It be interested to see how it sounds.

DOn't ever look at HP and TQ numbers for an exhaust, it's all BS and won't be felt. Ignore that.

The catback should sound pretty good IMO. Better than a typical muffler delete, which is all that the axle back is.

Looks like the resonator is right where the fwd driveshaft is.

I see it now... I don't see why they couldn't have just moved that resonator towards the back of the car more.

Thanks. Yeah it sounds like my Ragazzon 3" axleback which is also basically a 3 to 2.5 muffler delete.


Be interesting how the front muffler sounds

I didn't hear anything. I did hear something rattle on the interior a bit after that though, but that wouldn't be the exhaust.

This is on sale right now . The cat back is 574 at the moment. I grabbed one . I am running the rag catless downpipe so this should be interesting.

I was just looking this exhaust up but I have an AWD also so the front section won't fit. I came here to see if anyone actually had a full kit installed and had sounds clips. I guess not.

I got some bad news a week or so after I ordered it. Long story short the email says they are having covid problems and the exhaust is about 12 weeks out. Anybody else try to order this and get a similar email ? I am not in any hurry and will wait it out because the price I got it for is cheap enough that I really don't care.

Have you received this and installed it on your Q4? I saw a note that the axle-back doesn't fit AWD. Thanks!

my exhaust just came in. I have not had a much time to process all the parts .What I have figured out is the paperwork does say it wont work on the all wheel drive. I am also missing a band clamp . This is kind of annoying but not really a deal breaker . I can get a 3inch band clamp from a local AutoZone .
