No, the Giulia didn’t spin out of control. The 360 refers to Youtube’s 360° video option and Alfa Romeo took advantage of that feature to bring you three videos of the Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde being driven around a track. You get the chance to video the Quadrifoglio 360° footage from three vantage points; cockpit view, bonnet view and roof view.
The track is no Nürburgring but it’s still great to see the 503hp 3.0-liter V6 Giulia QV race down around with its 6sp manual transmission gearbox. You can see a track display in the bottom left corner of each video and the lap times and timer in the upper left corner.
Even though the Giulia has a top speed of 190mph (306km/h), he probably wasn’t able to make full use of it in the straight between turn 2 and 4 but you do see an impressive display of acceleration and initial launch with a 0-62mph (100km/h) time of 3.9 seconds.
What we also get a sneak preview of is the Giulia QV’s sound. We’ve heard it cold start and inch towards a trailer but this is the first time we hear it tear down the track. The sound quality is not the best but you can still her the growl of the engine and the squeal of the tires.
