well, it's time to return my 2018.
My current car was 2yr lease for 10k/yr for $454/mo on $56500 MSRP car.
RV was 59% so buyout is around $33000 which is way more than I'd pay.

2020 Ti-Sport with MSRP of $58040.
$2000 drive off, 36mo lease 12k/yr for $499/mo. 46% RV
roughly $13k or 22.5% discount. debating whether to sign or not.

More options, more miles, and a buy out of $27k which should be inline if you keep mileage down. You don’t state capital cost reduction on the first lease for comparison purposes, but these numbers seem pretty good.

Definitely get another Giulia!

There’s also the added benefit of the 2020 being that much more refined/updated! If it were me I would go with the 2020 in this scenario, it’ll pay off in the long run (I expect the value of a 2020 to hold better than the prior years)

I'd jump all over that. The discount alone is 50% of the residual! At the end of 3 years, you'd need to feel confident the car is worth at least $26,700 (approx) which is definitely in line with current market.

The only consideration is the ability to discount. When figuring a car's long term value, the dealer incentives and markup works against valuation, but it seems like that's still in line.

THUMBS UP!

sad update. i signed PNS put deposit 2 weeks ago while i was in Korea.
now I'm back in states and they want physical document with actual signature.
they bring document over and tells me their other dealership sold the car.
i'm like WTF!?!?!?!?! how is that even possible when I have deposit & signed PNS?
congrats to whoever stole my car..... hope you got as good of deal as I did.
VIN: ZARFANBN4l7626312
Black on Brown with pretty much every possible option & MSRP of $58040.
Stay tuned for update.........

so update to the situation.
dealer will provide better car @ better deal.
$60,145 MSRP Ti-Sport Carbon, 3yr/15k, 46% RV, $2000 DAS, $499.87/mo.
car's expected to arrive dealership tomorrow or anyday.
my mandatory self-quarantine ends saturday so might not happen for saturday delivery.
if doesn't arrive, dealer will put me in loaner until car arrives as my lease is past turn-in.

why not buy out of state and ship it to CA or drive to CA if they quoting you $700+?
my original deal was good to begin with but ended up getting much better deal because my dealer f**ked up.
pre-rebate was 17% discount + incentive/rebate = ended up 26.57% discount.

That's what I am trying to do now - would you mind sharing or recommending your dealer?
