Hi all, excited to join the community as a new owner. I just picked up a ‘17 Giulia TI AWD and was wondering if Apple CarPlay is supposed to be available/enabled for this model. I see conflicting material online. Appreciate the help!

It's available only starting from the '18 models, so no Carplay for you.
Get a magnet grill mount for your phone

Enjoy your car. No on CarPlay, but you don't need it IMHO.

If you put on one of the enhanced exhaust systems (several threads on that topic)- you won't be listening to much music, other than the music from these amazing cars when shifting and driving.

Speaking from experience, Carplay is way overrated. Get an iPhone mount for the car.
